The fear of “Starting From Scratch”- It’s a nightmare until you try

Recently I relocated to a different country and in the process, I had to do a few things. It’s never and easy thing to say goodbye it’s never easy to leave your comfort zone but there can come a point when a person has to start over from scratch.

My story is specific but it is not unique, in fact a lot of people face choices every day and I can tell you, when you have to consider starting over from scratch it never rubs you right. A perfect example of this dilemma is present in relationships. After attachments are made and dependencies established picture the horror that goes through your head when you even consider having to break it off and start over again.

I know this all to well I’ve had my fair share of heartaches and sitting in the pit of gloom but at the end of the day the will to carry on an survive will triumph. Now as I said before I had to give up a few things two of the main things I had to part with were my job and my comfort zone. Covid-19 didn’t make things easy for me, in fact it made it one of the most difficult periods I have ever faced.
