My job is awesome so that means the effort I put into my work as a DevRel @ Google has limitless potential to translate into extraordinary things. That in itself is fantastic but I want to embark on a new personal challenge… That is to learn Go lang…

Go was created at Google in 2007, and since then, engineering teams across Google have adopted Go to build products and services at massive scale.

From July — December I’m going to try to utilise these 6 months to “Go” into the learning process. I’ll be using the following.

# 1 — Zero to mastery platform — Go Programming (Golang): The Complete Developer’s Guide. This would be a comprehensive course at 12 hours length. You’ll be using your Go knowledge to create an enterprise-level Pixl Art editor as your Final Project. << p.s. if you want to get this course use the link I provided and the code FRIENDS10 to get a 10% discount on your subscription.>>

#2 — The Kodekloud — Golang — Online Learning Course . This is a light weight 4.25 hour course.

The goal is to try and finish these two courses in 6 month.

I’ll update a git repo as I “Go” along. Feel free to join in I’ve provide the course I would be using above and a discount code for one of them. the Link and code are valid at anytime so no rush.
