How to migrate successfully! (planned migration)- Tips based on real experiences.

My Initial blog back in 2021 introduced the behind the scene of me migrating to Canada and how I landed my first job (Migrating to Canada during a pandemic and landing my First Job in Cloud — Behind the scene). This blog continues based on my experience over time. From then till now thing have changed a lot in Canada and as expected change is consistent.

These are my non sugar coated general tips that may or may not be helpful for anyone who may be thinking about a big task such as migrating.

# 1 — Find your true purpose. Everyones experience is difference but there are some general possibilities on the outcome. Don’t jump on a band wagon without first thinking about “WHY” I am migrating with some deep thought. This is necessary because the journey is not an easy one.

# 2 — Do proper research. If you aren’t dedicated to spend a good portion of time to research and investigate the place you want to migrate to then you are approaching this poorly. You need to look for official sources like government sites, avoid hype immigration sites that try to sell you a dream which is far from reality. Looking for shortcuts or non conventional ways can put you in problems down the line.
